DAVISON, Shirley A.
Age 77, of Beavercreek ended her fight with pancreatic cancer Thursday February 4, 2010 with her family at her side. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Shirley will be remembered as a loving wife, a caring mother and grandmother, and a good friend to many people. Shirley’s smile and laughter would light up a room. She was known for her kind demeanor, her compassion for others, her ability to listen, her quick wit, and her ability to see the best in everyone. Shirley retired from Sears in Dayton where she worked in Central Service and as head of auditing, she enjoyed many years of service and friendship there. She enjoyed the friendship and golf in her 9 hole league at WPAFB where she also served as the league’s “Sunshine girl”. She also enjoyed spending time talking and laughing with family and friends. Shirley is survived by her husband of 60 years, John; 4 children, Sharon (Rick) Frasure, Mark (Cheryl) Davison, Jeff (Jill) Davison, and Trisha Davison; 5 grandchildren, Joshuia (Anna) Frasure, Amanda (Mark) Lasson, Amanda Frasure, Justin (Jennifer) Frasure, and Jared Frasure; 5 great grandchildren; and her 2 sisters Ruth Fisher of Ludington MI; and Marion Eighmy of Grand Rapids, MI. Friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at St. Luke Catholic Church at 10:30AM on Friday February 12, 2010, and or a reception immediately following services in the lower level of St. Luke Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Dayton whose help is so greatly appreciated for the comfort they provided, or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Services in care of TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL.
