Lauricella, Louis J., Sr. “Louie” age 83, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010. He was born February 1, 1927 to the late Charles & Emilia. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; son, Louis Jr.; sisters, Josephine Bertini, and Annie Mast; brothers, Daniel, Benjamin, James, Joseph, Anthony, Carl and grandson, Charles Jr. Louie is survived by daughters, Patricia (Harry) Roberts and Suzette Stalter; daughter-in-law, Donna; sons, Michael (Patty), Jerome (Mary) and Charles (Cheryl); sister, Grace (Jim) Eckley; brothers, Angelo (Virginia) and Charlie Jr. (Mary); 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Louie retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. He was a lifelong member of the Order of the Sons of Italy in America, John Pirelli Lodge and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dayton. Louie enjoyed participating in bowling and bocci leagues and spending time with his family. Prayers 9:15 Saturday, 13, 2010 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Saturday, St Joseph Catholic Church, 411 E Second St. Dayton, Fr. John Mencsik celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
